Warplanes led by Saudi Arab coalition raided a farm in western Yemen killing 10 women.

Yemen’s al-Masirah television network reported on Saturday that the attack had targeted a farm in the Khoukhah District of al-Hudaydah Province, which forms a strip along the country’s western coastline.

It did not provide any further details.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its allies have been pounding Yemen — already the Arab world’s most impoverished nation — since March 2015 to restore a former regime that they favored.

More than 13,600 people have died since the onset of the invasion. At least 40,000 have also been injured and more than three million displaced.

The most recent mass casualties from the raids were caused in the southwestern Yemeni province of Ta’izz, where Saudi-led airstrikes killed or injured over 120 people in a market on Tuesday.

The United States offers assistance to the Saudi-led coalition logistically and through the provision of intelligence.

The US has also sold Saudi Arabia billions of dollars’ worth of advanced military equipment, which the Riyadh regime uses against Yemen.

Formation of Islamic alliance urged by Palestinian scholars to defend Al-Quds

The Association of Palestinian Islamic Scholars has called for establishing an Islamic alliance to defend Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) led by Muslim religious figures from around the Arab and Islamic worlds.

The request came during a meeting held on Wednesday by the association in the Omari Mosque in Gaza, where several noted Palestinian scholars delivered speeches on al-Quds and highlighted the need to defend it by all Muslims.

“We call upon the Islamic countries to sever any relations with the Zionist Israeli entity and the United States of America,” one of the scholars said on behalf of the association.

He stressed that the Muslim nation is religiously responsible for supporting and protecting al-Quds and its people and called for helping the Palestinian people liberate their land.

The scholar also underlined the importance of consolidating the national unity in order to confront the Zionist-American schemes that target al-Quds.

“Today, we call on the [Muslim] nation from Palestine to move to curb Israel’s madness. You must move quickly to defend the Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian cause,” he said.

“Palestine needs your money, your support and your armies because al-Quds and the Aqsa Mosque can only be liberated through struggle and resistance and not through talks and negotiations,” he added.
