Selective outrage and the rise of engineered western populism

SHAFAQNA – US President Donald Trump has been in office for less than a week and already the world is imploding under the weight of a “populist” movement decrying the horror of his policies, and his character.

From the shores of America to European capitals, it is the western world that has come together to scream its righteous outrage and in the name of democracy call for … well actually we are not quite sure what it is that people are calling for. People are most definitely angry but like most things those days there is no real substance or depth to such passion – only the sense this new rising populism serves invisible hands.

But before I get into that, let us look at those dynamics our very own western media complex has given airtime to, and from TV studios angled events to serve a pre-determined purpose. Can I quickly point out to the sheer irony of the situation! Could it be that the United States of America sits on the verge of a colour revolution courtesy of its own establishment?

While many will smile before America’s Trumpist anguish, others …. Among whom yours truly, feel very much uneasy, and may I dare say nauseated.

Here’s why:

If I can understand people’s rejection of President Trump’s character – he made some rather crass comments about women, and belittled a plethora of minorities on account he felt entitled, this is the man America elected in office while screaming national pride and empowerment.

Did people thought they were playing scrabble on election day? Was the average American being humorous while casting his or her ballot, hoping to make a point?

No offence to anyone but Mr Trump was elected fair and square … he did not descend upon Washington on a chariot of fire pulled by the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Rather, he fought his way through a flurry of contenders to the Oval Office.

But OK I will grant America the right to change its mind with one extra large portion of temporary insanity. Forgive them for they know not what they are doing …

Now to the nauseating bits: the world is up in arms – especially women, arguing that Trump is a menace and that his own brand of chauvinism should be placated. That’s cute … Where were those amazon warriors when Wahhabist Saudi Arabia was promoting and selling rape, sexual exploitation and paedophilia to remap the Middle East and offer an entire region to the monster of Western imperialism? By the way Saudi Arabia still is promoting abomination and ignominy, and western governments are still enabling to the tune of military contracts and expertise.

Call me crazy but I find governments’ active promotion of genocidal policies more troubling than one politician’s seedy comments against women. And again, THIS IS the candidate AMERICA choose to vote into office.

Why the sudden and global freak out?! Don’t get me wrong I am by no mean a Trump fan … but at the same time, I’d rather see him sit on that presidential chair than the insanity that is Hillary Clinton and her Wahhabi-backers.

How fast can you engineered opposition movement?

“Hundreds of thousands more women thronged New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver and Boston, adding to a public outpouring of mass dissent against Trump unmatched in modern U.S. politics for a new president’s first full day in office.

So-called Sister March organizers estimated 750,000 demonstrators swarmed the streets of Los Angeles, one of the largest of Saturday’s gatherings. Police said the turnout there was as big or bigger than a 2006 pro-immigration march that drew 500,000,” wrote Reuters this Sunday.

For those of you who still believe that America and the western world is organically rising up, allow me to highlight the following comments Reuters chose to “innocently” plant on your subconscious.

Ready?

“Pam Foyster, a resident of Ridgway, Colorado, said the atmosphere in Washington reminded her of mass protests during the 1960s and ’70s against the Vietnam War and in favour of civil rights and women’s rights. “I’m 58 years old, and I can’t believe we are having to do this again,” Foyster said.”

Do you see it now? Do you see the thread being carefully weaved around America’s righteous protest?

Trump’s presidency has been declared war to by the Establishment and people are playing right in the hands of their puppet-masters. What a wonderful world indeed!

The Guardian has touted the “Women’s March on Washington” as a “spontaneous” action for women’s rights. Another liberal media outlet, Vox, talks about the “huge, spontaneous groundswell” behind the march. On its website, organizers of the march are promoting their work as “a grassroots effort” with “independent” organizers.

But really we are talking about George Soros’ new socio-political experiment!

Soros has funded, or has close relationships with, at least 56 of the march’s “partners,” including “key partners” Planned Parenthood, which opposes Trump’s anti-abortion policy, and the National Resource Defense Council, which opposes Trump’s environmental policies. The other Soros ties with “Women’s March” organizations include the partisan MoveOn.org (which was fiercely pro-Clinton), the National Action Network (which has a former executive director lauded by Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett as “a leader of tomorrow” as a march co-chair and another official as “the head of logistics”). Other Soros grantees who are “partners” in the march are the American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Constitutional Rights, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

Just saying ….
